A royal exhibition at the Château de Fontainebleau

Kings, pharaohs, sultans...

What images have these mighty monarchs handed down to us through the millennia? This summer, an exhibition sets out to answer this question, in a château occupied by French monarchs through the ages. “Kings of the World – Art and Royal Power through the Masterpieces of the Al Thani Collection” features sculptures, objets d’art, gold and silver plate, coins, miniatures, weapons and jewels from the East and West, of which the oldest date back to Antiquity and the most recent to the 19th century.

September 8 to October 8. Château de Fontainebleau.
Closed Tuesday. Château and exhibition: €10 and €12.
