Climb the 300 steps of the Tour Saint-Jacques

Former bell tower of the Saint-Jacques-de la Boucherie church, the 62-meter-high Tour Saint-Jacques now soars over a public garden close to the Place du Châtelet.

This one-of-a-kind edifice, the main body of which was pillaged for stone at the end of the French Revolution, is only open in the warmer months, which is why you should really tackle the 300 steps of its narrow spiral staircase this summer! And the reward for all that huffing and puffing? A 360° panoramic view over the capital.

Until November 4. Guided tour. Friday to Sunday. €8 and 10.
The tour is prohibited to children under the age of 10.
