La Nuit aux Invalides : a show that sheds light on French history

An image and sound show staged in one of the city’s top sights by Bruno Seillier, “La Nuit aux Invalides” gives a hero’s-eye-view of the history of France and its capital city. Projected onto three faces of the cour d’honneur in the Hôtel des Invalides, it spans two millennia from the Gauls to De Gaulle and the French Resistance, via the Middle Ages and the Sun King, in whose reign the Invalides were built. After the show (the commentary is also available on a headset in English or Spanish), visit the Dome church by candlelight and get a glimpse of Napoleon I’s tomb.

Until September 2. “La Nuit aux Invalides – Si Paris m’était contée”
Wednesday to Saturday at 10:30 pm until July 30.
At 10pm after August 1. €17 and €20.
Extras: €5 seat, €5 headphones, €8 Dôme night visit.
