Paris will serve as the backdrop to a rather unusual car race this April when the city hosts a round of Formula E – a new single-seater championship and the world’s first fully-electric racing series. On a 14-bend, 1.93 km-long circuit in and around the esplanade of the Invalides, nine teams will compete in a one-hour race that gives manufacturers like Renault e.dams the chance to show off their latest innovations. Celebrated luxury watchmaker, TAG Heuer, will be the event’s Official Timekeeper. The “Parisian Electric Mobility Trophy” for bicycles, skateboards and scooters will hit the streets the same day and is set to be a lot of fun!
23rd april Qualifications from 8.15am. Trophy at 1.15pm. Race at 4pm Broadcast live on Canal +
