Le Juliana hotel, a jewel in the heart of Paris

Once the HQ of France’s national TV network, this oasis of peace more than merits its five stars. At the crossroads of cultural, fashion and political life in the capital, this building between the Eiffel Tower, avenue Montaigne and Saint-Germain-des-Prés has remarkable swagger. Behind its planted façade lie forty spacious rooms and one amazing 70 sq.m. suite – the Juliana. A celebration of understated elegance over seven floors, this hotel is the personal creation of owner Éric Cléton – a globetrotter passionate about contemporary art who has filled the hotel with objects hand-picked from around the world.

Adding a unique, personal and arty touch, the lobby and lounge bar are decorated with paintings, sculptures and Art Deco furniture from his private collection. A stunning Murano chandelier crowns the grand staircase, while Italian mosaics and Moroccan zellige tiles provide a dazzling leitmotiv from the entrance to the Health Club and bathrooms. We’ll also shortly be able to admire the spectacular panoramic views over Paris from the 150 sq.m. terrace in all seasons. With its invigorating charm and private-museum feel, it’s little wonder this private residence is so popular with famous actors and artists, business executives, diplomats and tourists.
