Prepare to embark on a journey to a land of taste and refinement at the Peninsula, which will be drawing on its roots to celebrate the Chinese New Year with a line-up of exceptional dishes and traditional shows. While the Kléber Terrace will be lit by traditional red lanterns and the dance of the lion will be performed by artists and musicians in honor of the hotel’s guests, the Cantonese gastronomic restaurant, LiLi, will be offering visitors an original culinary experience. If you miss out on the dance of the lion and the dinner and show on Chinese New Year’s Eve on February 7, don’t worry: you can still enjoy the special six-dish tasting menu (€128 – a lucky number!) until February 13. The menu’s traditional Cantonese dishes include dim sum, tofu soup and mitten crab, steamed turbot with soya sauce and ginger, fillet of Wagyu beef, braised noodles with caviar and cured Iberian ham, and sesame crisps with litchi. Happy Chinese New Year!
