A member of the distinguished Asian group Mandarin Oriental, this contemporary palace hotel on rue Saint-Honoré combines Western luxury with Eastern sophistication. We take a look around.

Mandarin Oriental hotels are famous for their refinement and meticulous service. Whether in Asia or at Mandarin Oriental, Paris, guests are always guaranteed total peace of mind. On the exhilarating rue Saint-Honoré, the epicenter of Paris fashion, this palace hotel of a very different kind awaits you behind a listed Art Deco façade. After passing through a marble entrance encrusted with Swarovski crystals, visitors enter a heaven of peace. The hotel is organized around a modern-style courtyard with shady trees. Featuring 138 rooms and suites, it was designed by Jean-Michel Wilmotte with interiors by Sybille de Margerie and the Jouin-Manku agency, bright stars on the decorative arts scene. At the heart of this hotel, guests find themselves in a unique setting where Parisian elegance lives side by side with Far Eastern refinement. Here, the service lives up to even the most demanding standards and luxury is synonymous with pleasure, delight and harmony. Alongside the cozy, graceful bedrooms, the seven duplex suites that occupy the seventh and eighth floors – including the 350 sq.m Royale Mandarin and the 407 sq.m. J’aime Paris penthouse – are oases of tranquility. The 162 sq.m. Royale Orientale suite, spread over two levels, is a bold blend of Parisian chic and Oriental beauty. A majestic driftwood dragon looks resplendent next to the office, while the bar is decorated with hand-painted crocodiles. Floral drapes inspired by Asia complete the lower level which also comprises a living room and dining room. A sumptuous ebony staircase decorated with flowers and sculpted butterflies leads to the bedroom and bathroom. From here, guests can step out onto the leafy private 75 sq.m. terrace, which features a living area and dining room to enjoy under the shade of an elegant pergola.
