Monsieur Paris at the Carreau du Temple
This small jewelry store has a workshop that’s practically on the street, since passers-by can actually see the craftsmen at work… or rather craftswomen, because everyone who works at Monsieur Paris is a woman. Nadia Azoug – a sociology graduate who started working in the recruitment department of a publishing company before running a bar with her husband – decided, after meeting a jeweler, to open her own jewelry store – yes, just like that!
A place where people can meet and admire her jewels, where craftswomen and customers can get to know each other, and where the production process adds another layer of magic, because your piece is created right in front of your eyes… all managed and made by women, just like the boss wanted! Her extremely feminine, fun and easy-to-wear made-to-measure jewelry, small rings, a medallion decorated with an eye – her bestseller – and her necklaces are such good value for money that it’s hard to resist.
With a team like this, no wonder Monsieur Paris is such a success!
