Zingaro They shoot angels don’t they (elegies)

This intensely dramatic production once again reveals Bartabas’ love of horses. And what better than an ode to death to help us feel free and alive? The poet and horseman Bartabas confronts his own fears, doubts and shadows in an equestrian dance of death featuring horses and acrobat riders. This cortege of mournful but nonetheless incredibly beautiful images is accompanied by wonderful scores by Tom Waits, Prokofiev, Messiaen and Bach.
