The Palais Royal restaurant

Those who know the restaurant at the Palais Royal will no longer recognize the place, utterly transformed by Evok Hôtels Collection to echo the splendid gardens of the Palais-Royal. Decorator Christophe Tollemer designed several atmospheres off the foyer exhibiting the works of artist Pierre Roy-Camille. Guests can enter via the gardens or rue de Valois. Archways and pilasters that recall the Paris of yore play with more contemporary features like the mat black ceilings and luminous cornices. Concoted by chef Philip Chronopoulos, formerly with L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon Étoile, the menu holds several pleasant surprises such as the sautéed line-caught turbot, green asparagus and white petals from the Cévennes, or lightly seared langoustines, cauliflower and fresh sorrel. Desserts are equally indulgent, as evinced by the kiwi glacé with honey. You can enjoy your meal on the sumptuous terrace during sunny weather or in the cozy, bourgeois decor of the dining room available for private hire on the first floor. The cuisine of the Palais Royal offers decidely gourmet fare, to the point of upstaging another local institution, the Grand Véfour. Prix-fixe menu €142.
