Patchanka, Argentinian restaurant

Chef Gastón Stivelmaher chose the name Patchanka (title of La Mano Negra’s debut album, released in 1988) for his new Latino bistro featuring Argentinian cuisine. No “big name” decor here, simply a neo-bistro setting with an age-worn feel for a dining room that seats 30 and a small eat-at counter where you can watch the chef in action at his Argentinian charcoal grill

the Rolls Royce of grills renowned for its strong, long-lasting heat. Impossible in an Argentinian restaurant to ignore the trendy mainstay of sea bream ceviche (€12) with delicious chunks of fish marinated in a flawless “tiger’s milk” made with slightly spicy coconut. Then, and if you can agree on a choice of meat, don’t miss the generous Blonde de Galice beef rib for two (€70 per kg), aged 40 days and done to perfection, served with a tasty chimichurri sauce and manioc fries. Truly mouthwatering! To finish, make way for the creamy and delicious dulce de leche crème brûlée, chocolate crumble and vanilla ice cream (€9). A new and excellent location for grill house fans! Lunch prix-fixe menu at €17 and special at €14.
