A car race to electrify Paris

The Paris e-Prix has been held every year at the heart of the capital since 2016. Twenty-two Formula E single-seat cars compete on a 1.9 km circuit around the Hôtel des Invalides. Powered by an electric motor, the cars make 49 laps on a roadway with paving stones covered in a special blacktop that’s removed at the end of the event. Apart from the race, part of the FIA Formula E Championship, visitors can also enjoy a program of activities in the Allianz E-Village near the track.
