Guerlain, 170 years old and still going
Timeless and modern for eternity, the Bee Bottle with Beehives and Golden Feast in fine gold celebrates its 170 years in the form of eternal youth. Engraved by the Pochet glassware of the Courval to receive L’Eau de Cologne Impériale created by Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain for the Empress Eugénie (on the occasion of her marriage to Napoleon III on 30 January 1853), it is today celebrated by eleven women artists, through the exhibition of pho- tos “Dear Eugenie”. From Charlotte Rampling, Audrey Tautou and Delphine Diallo to Orlan, Jane Evelyn Atwood, Valérie Belin and Delfina Carmona… each, with her technique, sensitivity and vision, expresses her singular attachment to this jewel of perfumery.
EXHIBITION “DEAR EUGENIE” UNTIL 16 JULY.
