Café Pouchkine, a new culinary journey

A treat for the taste buds on place de la Madeleine, the Café Pouchkine’s menu curated by Alain Ducasse and his teams is as sumptuous as the 600 sq.m. café itself. Open from breakfast to dinner, it has a deep terrace offering one-of-a-kind views of the church’s neoclassical peristyle. Set against this historic backdrop, esthete Andreï Dellos – who opened the first Café Pouchkine in Moscow – has created a romantic 19th-century-style cabinet of curiosities.

From the Pouchkine bar to its three salons – Catherine II on the first floor, and Pavlovsk on the second and Madeleine on the third – the elegant décor features chandeliers, sheens, sculptures and exceptional art. And it’s not just a feast for the eyes. The Franco-Russian menu includes a host of sophisticated dishes, such as bortsch, beef stroganoff, salmon and caviar, and a truly mouthwatering pavlova. From the tearoom to the restaurant, bar, pastry counter skippered by the delicious Nina Métayer and the delicatessen, this is a great place to grab a bite to eat in town, where happiness is an art of living at any time of day!
