Gourmet Delights

Foodstore Edmond, organic gets a first name

Behind the turquoise blue doors of this deli-café selling 2,500 different products, Parisians do their shopping as if they’d just popped out to the corner store! Except that everything here is organic, gluten-free, from sustainable agriculture and livestock sources, and environmentally friendly. Which is why it’s been named after the Hungarian philosopher Edmond Bordeaux Szekely, the high priest of the “biogenic life”. Customers are invited to explore four gourmet kiosks run by devotees of healthy and tasty fare, including gastro sandwiches by starred-chef Akrame Benallal, Good Organic Only juices by Mareva Galater, fresh Gluten Free pasta by Jessie Aim and Sabrina Naïm, and gluten-free sweet and savory eclairs by Gregory Cohen. A culinary revolution!
