Chanel Coco Crush Saga

Gabrielle Chanel used the quilted motif for the first time in her collections in 1920, drawing her inspiration, it is thought, from the materials worn by stable boys, which were extremely practical for the paddocks. Thirty-five years later, the topstitched diamond-shaped relief had become the signature of the CC brand, following the creation of its celebrated quilted leather bag better known to connoisseurs as the 2.55. This year marks a new stage in the history of this leitmotif exclusive to Chanel. The Coco Crush jewelry line of six items – a bracelet/cuff, and five white or yellow 18 carat rings – now features the curved geometry of the famous diamond shape subtly engraved into their surface. Simply precious, everyday and exceptional, light and sophisticated, this collection has a strong personality, just like Coco herself.
