Second Cave à chocolats by Jean-Paul Hévin  on rue Saint-Honoré

Sugar rush alert! Hot on the heels of Jean-Paul Hévin’s delicious Art Deco collection of Christmas logs, made in the blink of an eye to mark the brand’s 30th anniversary, the chocolate-maker has opened a new Cave à chocolats on rue Saint-Honoré (the first store is located on the right side of the same street at no. 231). A box within a box, this store – devoted exclusively to chocolate enthusiasts! – is slated to open in January.

Once through the sliding doors, the low ceilings, dark floor and golden wall mosaics set the scene for Jean-Paul Hévin’s chocolate selection, which promises the sheen and fragrance of true Grands Crus. Part store, part tasting space, it will also play host to demos for small groups run by the chocolate-maker himself, along with pastry-making courses.
