La Galerie Four Seasons George V

At the helm of the Four Seasons Hotel George V kitchens, with the objective of perpetuating “the art of French living”, two-star culinary creator Christian Le Squer loves to shape and assemble products to enhance them and bring out their subtleties of taste. David Bizet at La Galerie restaurant shares this guiding philosophy. The 37-year-old chef from Normandy knows the place like the back of his hand. He has been with Le Cinq for fifteen years, coming from a strong culinary background in the kitchens of the Présidence du Sénat and Taillevent. He was chosen to rise to the palace’s new gastronomic challenge, offering a brand new experience in French cuisine. Drawing inspiration from the terroir, he is renowned for his choices and combinations of flavors. While guests love to escape the cold in the very 19th-century décor of La Galerie with its lush carpets, Flemish tapestries on the walls, and deep red and golden armchairs, they also appreciate the dining service on the terrace to enjoy the final days of summer. Two ideal settings to savor David Bizet’s menu, featuring an iceberg of green asparagus in a vichyssoise with crunchy vegetables and sea salt, followed by milk-fed lamb cutlets grilled with wild garlic, lemon confit and baby carrots, or codfish with a potato risotto. La Galerie offers a 3-course menu for lunch and dinner at €95.
