Le Saint Saint-Germain-des-Prés

Tucked away on the rue du Pré-aux-Clercs, a small, quiet, sunny street just a hop, skip and jump from the Seine and the historic church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Le Saint is probably one of the neighbourhood’s most elegant hotels, managed by owner and interior designer, Bertrand Plasmans, who trained at Le Crillon. After entering the vast wood-clad lobby, guests are handed the key – a real key – to one of 54 bedrooms or junior suites, or better still Le Saint des Saints, a 40 sq.m. terrace apartment suite. The six “moods” combining Asian, English and neo-classical influences – striped or flowered drapes, carpets with Scottish or speckled leopard-like patterns, designer lighting, and exclusive photographs of the surrounding streets by Pierre-Elie Pibrac – make each room totally unique. For added pleasure, the Kult, the hotel’s cozy bar and à la carte neo-bistro restaurant welcome you late into the night. The hotel’s wellness services include a fitness and massage area and steam room.
