Cherry

Saint-Germain-des-Prés continues its renaissance with the arrival of Cherry, a glamorous new address that electrifies the Left Bank.

Opening in fall 2025, this Italo–New York–style restaurant lets diners experience Manhattan evenings without leaving Paris. Behind its discreet façade on rue du Sabot, designer Sarita Posada has conjured an intimate atmosphere inspired by Brooklyn’s jazz clubs, transposed with effortless grace to a Saint-Germain bistro. Soft lighting, cozy banquettes, and a soundtrack that moves from jazz to hip-hop throughout the evening set the tone for just seventy fortunate guests.

At the stoves, Oscar Aviles Santana (formerly of Zuma Dubai) reimagines classics with NYC flair: cacio e pepe, penne alla vodka, homemade meatballs, or a New York–style Caesar salad. Comfort dishes that echo the cinematic food heritage of Scorsese’s films and Little Italy.

At the bar, the mood is timeless, with icons like the Dirty Martini, Negroni, and Old Fashioned paying tribute to cocktails that never fade from style. The vision comes from Indie Group founders Tobias Chaix, Vincent Luftman, and Raphaël Blanc – the trio already behind some of Saint-Tropez and Courchevel’s hottest venues. With Cherry, they bring Paris a cosmopolitan, festive stage, a refined stop on their international journey before the upcoming opening of Pablo in Saint-Barth.

Cherry is where friends gather, where Paris flirts with New York, and where an evening feels like a one-way ticket across the Atlantic – with the guarantee of returning to the Left Bank by night’s end.

6pm to 10pm Open daily Average price: €90.
