Schneider Electric Marathon: on your marks, get set, go!
26.2 miles. Runners know this number well – it is the distance required to complete the prestigious and demanding Schneider Electric Paris Marathon. For its 49th edition, held on Sunday, April 12, participants will once again set off from the Champs-Élysées along a route that passes the capital’s most iconic landmarks – Opéra Garnier, the Louvre, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Eiffel Tower – as well as the Bois de Boulogne and Bois de Vincennes. Following last year’s 57,000 runners (33% of whom were international), the 2026 edition promises yet another success for this legendary race. On your marks, get set… go!
