An Egg-xtraordinary show

As Easter approaches, the egg becomes a work of art. Conceived by Frédéric Bau and presented by the De Main de Maître association, the exhibition “Eggxtraordinaire” takes over Galerie Joseph in the heart of the Marais. The concept? Ninety-four international artisans and artists reinvent this mythological and universal symbol – both fascinating and life-giving – through original works spanning sculpture, design, and fine craftsmanship. A creative playground where materials, gesture, and boldness blur the boundaries between craft and art.

The event is held under the honorary presidency of Pierre Hermé and Patrick Roger, with Anne-Sophie Pic as patron and Pascal Oudet as sponsor. In parallel with the exhibition, a beautifully illustrated book published by Éditions de La Martinière celebrates these creations and the history of the egg in art. A resolutely contemporary creative ode to discover over the Easter holidays.
