An open-air passage tucked away between boulevard Raspail, rue du Bac and rue de Grenelle, next to the musée Maillol, Beaupassage is a great place to spend a couple of hours, especially if you’re curious by nature and love walking around beautiful streets, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Art works and installations, leafy, planted spaces, well-being and good food all conspire to make this a truly extraordinary place.
It’s also a great spot to explore the world of outstanding craftsmen, including L’Allénothèque opened by the three-star chef Yannick Alléno, Le Daily Pic by chef Anne-Sophie Pic, who also has three stars, Le Salon des gourmandises by Pierre Hermé, and the Thierry Marx bakery where you can sample his renowned Loyale baguette. Prefer seafood? Try the Mersea concept by Keyvan Badri with Olivier Bellin.
Beaupassage is also a new showcase for cheesemaker Barthélémy, butcher and cattle breeder Alexandre Polmard, who has added a restaurant to his store and, more surprising still, a Cigar Room. Whatever you do, don’t miss the creations of Japanese barista and Latte Art world champion Junichi Yamaguchi. Lastly, the sports club, Champion Spirit Rive Gauche by Abdoulaye Fadiga, Thai boxing world champion, promises to get your body and taste buds into shape with a healthy morning Coffee&Muesli Bar.
