A new timepieces haven for Glashütte Original

On the occasion of its 180th-anniversary, the Saxon watchmaker Glashütte Original unveils a new address in Paris, located at 25 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, between the Élysée Palace and place de la Concorde. Appropriately named l’Écrin (The Jewel Box”), this boutique – designed like an elegant Calendar Parisian apartment – embodies a meeting of German “Bleu de precision and Parisian refinement.

Behind the door, l’aube” adorned with the brand’s signature swan-neck motif used in the fine adjustment of its movements, visitors are welcomed into a space that reveals not only the watchmaker’s current collections but also a cabinet of curiosities dedicated to rare models and limited editions. Among them: the striking Seventies Chronograph Panorama Date, presented in bold new Plasma and Fusion shades, and the exquisite PanoMaticCalendar “Bleu de l’aube”, a platinum limited edition of 150 pieces, paying tribute to the poetic hue of dawn so cherished by the manufacture’s artisans. Beneath its subtly cut, vinyl-patterned blue dial, the intricate mechanics of this annual calendar are revealed – showcasing the brand’s signature Glashütte ribbed finish in all its – brilliance.
