LVMH Watch Week opens the year in style
Bvlgari: roman seduction as heritage
Gold brightens the winter thanks to Bvlgari, which combines Roman jewelry elegance with Swiss high watchmaking. The flamboyant Tubogas Manchette draws inspiration from a 1974 creation and brings to life the colors of citrines, rubellites, peridots, amethysts, topazes, and spessartites, enhanced by 12 carats of diamonds. The Maglia Milanese Monete secret watch reinterprets Milanese mesh – dating back to the Renaissance – in rose gold. Supple and elegant, the bracelet wraps around the wrist and conceals a mother-of-pearl dial set with diamonds beneath a genuine ancient coin. A jewel, a fragment of history, and a remarkable timepiece powered by the world’s smallest round caliber, the Piccolissimo BVP100, visible through a transparent caseback.

Tag Heuer sets sail
The spotlight turns to the Carrera collection, which highlights a lesser-known chapter in the Maison’s history: sailing. The Seafarer nods to a model created in 1949 for Abercrombie & Fitch. Without a chronograph function and sold by the luxury sporting-goods retailer, the Solunar displayed high- and low-tide times. With vintage inspiration – a champagne opaline “Intrepid Teal” dial (named after the Intrepid, winner of the America’s Cup in 1967), a glassbox crystal, and a “beads-of-rice” steel bracelet – the TAG Heuer Carrera Seafarer (42mm) is powered by the TH20-04 chronograph caliber with tide indicator.
Louis Vuitton: a journey into high watchmaking
La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton has forged a singular identity around a theme dear to the Maison: travel. The Escale collection enters a new world of complications with watches designed to inspire exploration. The Escale Worldtime, displaying time across 24 time zones, is offered in platinum with a Fleur de Monogram tourbillon version. The Escale Minute Repeater combines the poetry of a chiming watch with a jumping-hour display and a radiant flame-guilloché dial. This vintage highlights the manufacture’s expertise in high watchmaking and fine craftsmanship, as seen in the Tambour Convergence Guilloché, the Escale Tiger’s Eye, and La Camionnette, which carries the Maison through time.

Zenith: focus on defy and masculine-feminine design
An iconic model of the Maison, the Defy explores new urban territory and capitalizes on light-playing finishes, the El Primero caliber, and multiple case sizes – including a 36mm version, equally suited to men and women. Contrasting black ceramic with a rose-gold skeleton movement, the bold Defy Skyline Skeleton reminds us how quickly time passes, with a tenth- of-a- second counter at 6 o’clock. More accessible, the Defy Revival A643 – a reissue of a 1969 watch – has won universal acclaim with its 14-sided case, silver dial, and “Ladder” bracelet.
Tiffany & co.: looking back
While the Sixteen Stone and Eternity Baguette celebrate the Maison’s jewelry-making expertise, the Tiffany Timer commemorates its watchmaking history and its first chronograph, introduced in 1866. This limited edition of 60 platinum pieces features an El Primero caliber, whose oscillating weight is adorned with the iconic “Bird on a Rock”, and a Tiffany Blue lacquer dial set with diamond hour markers.

Hublot: a tribute to Novak Djokovic
Among Hublot’s many new releases, the Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition pays tribute to the 101 victories of its ambassador. Exceptional in every way, the watch comes in three colors symbolizing clay (orange), hard court (blue), and grass (green), available in editions of 21, 72, and 8 pieces respectively – referencing victories achieved on each surface. Crafted from a composite of Head tennis rackets and Lacoste polo shirts, this ultra-light tourbillon watch (56g) is as demanding as it is bold.
