With sunny skies comes the desire to eat by the water: no problem! In Paris you can enjoy a meal by the Seine, or even on the Seine for that matter. Hop onboard the Ducasse sur Seine for lunch (starting at €100) or a two-hour dinner cruise (starting at €150). This magnificent electric boat features an elegant dining room, a kitchen worthy of the most prestigious restaurants, and a menu by the talented, multi-starred chef Alain Ducasse. Or enjoy a meal at Le Club, a “floating rooftop” with a view of the Eiffel Tower. Located on the upper floor of the Compagnie des Bateaux-Mouches landing dock at the Pont de l’Alma, the restaurant boasts a vast club-style dining room as well as a stunning terrace for you to enjoy a moderately priced bistronomic lunch (for around €45 and a lunch special at €29), designed by the media-hyped chef Christian Etchebest and prepared by Romain Casas. For a truly romantic cruise in an original setting, Le Calife, a vintage barge fully decorated by its owner, is the obvious choice. Cast off and glide past the monuments of Paris to the soothing sound of an antique two-cylinder motor (a genuine museum piece!). This charming vessel boasts a menu that combines classic dishes with fusion fare (starting at €67).
