Il Carpaccio

A mythical address in the French capital, Il Carpaccio has long drawn lovers of transalpine gastronomy. In partnership with the celebrated family restaurant Da Vittorio, Oliver Piras and Alessandra Del Favero have, since October 2021, taken the helm of the Italian table at the Royal Monceau. Within a décor designed by Philippe Starck, they reveal the full extent of their craft. Together with chefs Enrico and Roberto Cerea, they have created, exclusively for Il Carpaccio, a generous and creative menu that honours the great traditions of Italian produce.

The result lives up to its promise and was crowned in 2022 with a Michelin star. The amberjack with rocket and a crudaiola gelée of strawberries and tomatoes is remarkably fresh; the beef carpaccio is both indulgent and of rare tenderness; the paccheri in the Da Vittorio style will make the hearts of pasta lovers falter. Yazid Ichemrahen, nicknamed “the pastry chef to the stars”, has crafted, alongside Alexandre Favre, former right-hand man of chef Christophe Michalak, the palace’s new sweet creations. Menu L’Incontro at €175 and menu Chef’s choices at €230.
