Sant Ambroeus Paris
A cult institution of Milanese lifestyle since 1936, Sant Ambroeus makes its Paris debut in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés. After establishing iconic outposts in Aspen, New York, and Miami, Sant Ambroeus Paris now embodies the elegance of Lombardy paired with the intellectual effervescence of the Left Bank.
Designed by architect Fabrizio Casiraghi, the 280-sq.m. space blends dark wood with subtle nautical accents, graphic black-and-white mosaics, and refined Parisian details. Velvet banquettes, sculptural lighting, and carefully curated artworks shape a setting conceived as a contemporary salon.
From the first morning espresso to the last cocktail of the night, the service flows with warmth, precision, and effortless elegance. The coffee bar pays homage to the great Italian tradition – espresso, cappuccino, americano – while also embracing more modern creations, available both to enjoy on site or to take away.
In the dining room, the menu celebrates Milanese classics – vitello tonnato, osso buco, cotoletta alla Milanese, saffron risotto – enhanced by the house’s signature transatlantic influences. The bar extends the experience with a refined cocktail list, blending great Italian staples with New York inspirations, and a carefully curated wine list honoring both Italian and French terroirs.
Sant Ambroeus Paris has already established itself as a new Saint-Germain gathering place – a restaurant where guests feel “at home”, in keeping with the brand’s historic promise: Welcome home.
