Felini
On the quiet rue Saint-Georges, tucked away from Pigalle’s bustle, Felini offers a distinctive take on the contemporary neo-bistro. This new spot in the 9th arrondissement draws on a Franco-Italian repertoire shaped by Laura Hyppolito and Alexandre Guyader, a Le Cordon Bleu–trained duo whose vision blends French bistronomy with Italian refinement.
The menu shifts with the seasons, featuring dishes like amberjack crudo with diced apple and onion, tortellini stuffed with andouille and coated in a creamy broccoli sauce, and a two-vanilla panna cotta finished with balsamic and basil. Konro grilling – a Japanese barbecue technique known for imparting deep smoked notes – reveals technical mastery throughout the meats and fish. Produce is sourced through short circuits, notably from Marc Faragoni, an organic farmer in Seine-et-Marne.
The space, designed by Alors Studio, plays with contrasts: red oak carpentry, patiently sourced 1960s vintage furniture, and soft lighting that sets a hushed, intimate tone. With only twenty seats and a small terrace for warmer days, Felini maintains a quietly exclusive atmosphere. The wine list naturally leans Italian – Tuscany, Piedmont, Sicily – rounded out with a few French bottles selected by Les Flaconneurs. Lunch menus range from €34 to €42 depending on the selection. A place steadily finding its footing in a neighborhood undergoing a gentle gastronomic renaissance.
