Vendémiaire

At Vendémiaire, a long-standing institution of the 7th arrondissement, a new breeze is blowing through the dining room. At just 32, Jeffrey Quetin takes the helm of the kitchen and delivers a debut as promising as it is inspired. Trained in Michelin-starred brigades – Le Trou Gascon, Maison Rostang, L’Orangerie at the George V, then Le Gabriel at La Réserve – he brings a French cuisine of character: free- spirited, sincere, and joyfully generous. The menu delights with a flawless egg mayonnaise, classic leeks vinaigrette, and a game pâté en croûte, followed by a rib steak cooked on the Big Green Egg, a traditional lièvre à la royale, or melting scallops. And because Paris thrives on contrasts, special care is given to bright, elegant vegetarian dishes.

At the helm of this gourmet address stands Vendémiaire Nadd-Mitterrand, founder and enthusiastic host – his first name drawn from the Republican calendar – who ensures the restaurant remains true to its spirit: a place where one dines without pretense yet with style, where laughter flows as freely as a glass of vigneron red wine, where French gastronomy is enjoyed at its best – without fuss, but with flair.

The décor is elegant and welcoming, centered around a large bar where guests can gather. With the arrival of Jeffrey Quetin, Vendémiaire remains faithful to its manifesto: tradition, seasonality, terroir – infused with a sharp, youthful energy. A culinary 18 Brumaire, without conspiracies or bloodshed, but fueled by fire, gesture, and taste.
