Stéphane Rolland opens his haute couture residence

A spectacular new address for Stéphane Rolland, the couturier who dresses Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Amal Clooney, and Jennifer Lopez. Embodying a luxurious and masterful vision of haute couture, he has taken over the former Gastinne-Renette building on avenue Franklin-Roosevelt – once the gunsmith to Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte. Magnificently restored, the nearly 1,000-sq.m. space reveals a sumptuous showroom and a luminous atelier. A ceremonial salon with wood paneling stands alongside another adorned with radiant stucco. Reception is exclusively by appointment, in an atmosphere of exceptional refinement. Rolland’s creations sculpt the silhouette through perfectly calibrated details, dramatic draping, and bold openings. “I approach each dress as a unique sculpture carved from gazar or crêpe,” the designer explains. The Atelier lines propose bridal and evening gowns in a semi-couture, made- to-measure approach. Dedicated salons for fragrances developed with Henry-Jacques, costume high jewelry, shoes, and accessories affirm his 360-degree vision of Parisian couture. Simply magical.
