Kapé, heading to the Philippines

In the heart of the Oberkampf district, Kapé is a new coffee shop opened by Jessica Gonzalez and Aurélie Véchot, who are already at the helm of Bobi, the Filipino restaurant in the 11th district. Kapé, meaning coffee in Tagalog (one of the 190 languages of the Philippines), emerges as a warm and exotic haven. Jessica and Aurélie operate in an open and circular kitchen, encouraging exchanges with food enthusiasts. The menu features the purple yam (ube) from the Philippines, which will surprise and delight the senses, whether in a coffee, ice cream, or cookie… Try the signature Ubefoggato or Ube Latte for a unique experience. On the savory side, Kapé revisits a traditional Filipino dish, the Adobo Dip, with marinated chicken. These specialties are enjoyed around a central round table topped with a chandelier of capiz shell petals (pearly shell). The Mur-Mur agency designed the decor, combining raw materials and poetic touches. Kapé also offers a small grocery area with products from the Philippines. A beautiful culinary journey awaits!
