Compagnie des Indes Orientales flagship weighs anchor in the Marais

La Compagnie des Indes Orientales never fails to conjure up images of clippers on the high seas, sent by the Sun King to trade the route to India and China, or merchants plying the spice trail. In fact, the company really does date from Louis XIV’s reign – 1665 – and collapsed in 1793 under the weight of a political and financial scandal. Reborn in 2016, it has used its extensive herbal and botanical expertise to create a range inspired by traditional European and Asian pharmacopeia. Taking a holistic and modern approach to wellness, its products include herbal and pure flavored teas from China, India, Nepal and Vietnam, plus organic food supplements in seven go-to ranges: Detox, Vitality, Figure, Serenity, Beauty, Agility and Wellness. Its Marais store, which opened nearly in May, is clean-cut, raw, contemporary, just like its pure, technically honed products. Florebo quocumque ferar!
