Among the many summer festivals available to Parisians, L’Été en Seine remains one of the most beloved. Year after year, La Seine Musicale welcomes the season with operas, open-air screenings and major cultural events. For the 2026 edition, dance and music once again take center stage with ballets by George Balanchine, Maurice Béjart and Crystal Pite on July 25, followed the next evening by a performance of Puccini’s legendary opera La Bohème. Also returning are the “Sous les étoiles” screenings organized by Cinéclub Paradiso x MK2, which this year spotlight the biopic genre beneath the summer sky. One thing is certain: for Paris, summer happens on the Seine.
