Château life in the open air
In Seine-et-Marne, other châteaux are also embracing the season with open-air festivities. This is notably the case at Vaux-le-Vicomte with the unmissable Grand Siècle Gathering on Saturday, May 23, dedicated to all lovers of the 17th century, who will arrive dressed in period costumes. Carriage rides, falconry displays and water games in the fountains will animate the gardens, which will glow with countless candles as night falls.
Time travel will continue on May 31 and June 1 at the Château de Blandy-les-Tours during Les Seigneuriales de Blandy, featuring a medieval market, knightly tournaments and traditional dance lessons. Altogether, these open-air celebrations promise a summer season filled with grandeur.
