Aqua Allegoria Forte, Rosa Palissandro by Guerlain

Crafted by Delphine Jelk, this spicy, woody floral scent, for both women and men, is one of three in the new Forte line of Aqua Allegoria, a multifaceted tribute to forest fragrances. Rosa Palissandro is built around rosewood, whose woody scents, tinged with rosy nuances, unfold in their full olfactory splendor when combined with bergamot (Guerlain’s signature citrus) and coriander seed. Beneath this spicy imprint, the floral voluptuousness of Damask rose absolute, picked fresh from the Rose Triangle in Turkey to preserve its integrity, surfaces with honeyed tones. The ensemble leaves balanced trails of patchouli and sandalwood in its wake.
