Entrepreneur Isabelle Langlois has jewelry in her blood. The daughter and granddaughter of stonecutters, she grew up surrounded by stones and trained in gemology before launching her own brand. A fan of the Forties, her mid-century-styled store is tucked away in a neat little courtyard at 12 rue de la Paix. Crazy about colored stones, she selects only those with the most entrancing reflections. This season, Langlois celebrates the sunny warmth of citrine and the bewitchingly elegant green of malachite in an Emotion ring with a cushion-cut citrine accented with diamonds, sapphires and pink tourmalines, another called Ardèche which wraps around the finger like a precious ribbon, and Princesse Mathilde, which tones down the intensity of the malachite and brings out the lighter veins with two mother-of-pearl triangles.
