After Cali Sisters (2nd) Juliette and Capucine (two sisters enamored with cuisine and Californian culture) have expanded with Cali Uptown, exuding the same warm and sunny mood, and a decor inspired by the best restaurants in Palm Springs. We love the fifties setting and design, with the flashy blue gate at the entrance, the terrace graced with two big palm trees and cacti, and its eclectic, modern interior decor that makes you want to chill until the sun goes down. The same eclecticism can be found in your plate, with a lovely sampling of Californian cuisine influences and colors… but always cooked in a healthy way using fresh and well-sourced ingredients. New, authentic sensations to discover include the burrata from Apulia with green asparagus, peas and crunchy radishes (€12), corn tacos with sea bream, pickled red onions, crunchy cancha corn, cilantro and salsa verde (€15 for 3), ricotta meatballs with San Marzano tomato sauce, aged Parmesan and spinach leaves (€15), or the lobster bun with lemon mayo, fresh herbs and little gem lettuce (€23). Dessert lovers will have the difficult task of choosing between the ricotta fritters (€6) and the hot mess pavlova (€7), whereas cocktail lovers will want to prolong their evening with one of the signature mixes (from €9 to €12). Weekend brunch from 11am to 3:30pm with a prix-fixe menu at €30 or a la carte.
Open daily noon to 2:30pm and 7pm to 11pm. Average price: €30
