The star bags of spring
Rigid, flexible, maxi or micro, embroidered or decorated with metallic details, the bags of the season never cease to arouse desire. And invite all stylistic audacity.
Reinvented
Launched in the 90s, the Di Bag label Tod’s met a success never denied since. It appears this winter in a new version. From tote, it becomes handbag in different sizes. Its main seductive features are the central seam and rolled handles, its almond-shaped end and hand-painted raw leather trim. On these bags, the top zip is decorated with a long leather buckle. The house offers My Di Bag, an exclusive personalization service. Customers will be able to choose the necks and the lettering they want on them.

City-dweller
It made its appearance under the sun of Saint-Tropez, a mythical place that served as the backdrop for the 2023 spring-summer fashion show of the Celine women’s collection. His name? Conti. This bag, worn by the models in the hollow of the forearm, is immediately recognizable by its leather belt used to close it, by its padlock and key bell that decorate it. It is made in the greatest tradition by the leather craftsmen of the brand: a hot net underlines the edges of the bag, the stitches are saddle, the slices are tinted then dark many times.

Valuable collaboration
As part of the 25th anniversary of the legendary Baguette de Fendi bag, the Roman house has teamed up with Tiffany & Co. for a very special line. Models are created in leather or silk satin in the emblematic blue color of the American jeweler. The FF clasp features a sterling silver finish and an enamelled detail in Tiffany BlueTM features a double T pattern. The metallic silver details echo the jewels of Tiffany & Co. The two houses go further with a precious model, from the Hand in Hand initiative, entirely made of silver by Fendi and the master jewellers of Tiffany & Co. It is engraved with the national flower of Italy, the lily and that of the State of New York, the rose.

Iconic
Gucci continues to maintain the myth of his fetish objects. The bag Jackie 1961 is one of them. Created in 1961, this hobo model, worn by its elegant curved shape and golden clasp, became emblematic of the lifestyle of jet setters of the 1960s and 1970s. In addition, Jackie Kennedy Onassis was so often photographed with this bag that he was simply named the Jackie. It appears this season smaller and is willingly adopted by both men and women. Classic in black or red leather as well as GG supreme canvas with web band, it takes on pretty colors (lilac, straw yellow, light blue, pale pink…) as spring approaches. A long removable shoulder strap completes this unique variation.

The bucket-shaped bag is the accessory trend of the moment. For the spring-summer 2023 season, the Saint Laurent house unveils a new one, in glossy black leather. Named The Bucket, its bucket shape is made of a semi-rigid cylindrical construction. The YSL logo acts as a closure. It is equipped with a top handle and an adjustable leather shoulder strap, inviting multiple wears.

Roundness
“Never without her crescent-shaped shoulder bag!” A trend confirmed by Prada with her Moon model. Made of nappa leather, this bag is defined by the large central metal buckle – characteristic of the model since its first appearance in the spring-summer 2002 collection – the enamelled metal triangle logo, and an eyelet borrowed from the world of sailing. With a bold curved silhouette, this bag is available in several colors (light blue, cedar, geranium mango…) and enhanced by handles, a shoulder strap and an elegant removable keychain with matching colors.

Code name: Lady 95.22
Revealed during the ready-to-wear autumn-winter 2022-2023 fashion show, Dior’s Lady 95.22 bag revisits the brand’s heritage with modernity. Its contours reinvent the lines of the Lady Dior, mythical bag worn by Princess Diana. Its name is a summary of several figures: 1995, year of its creation and 2022, that of the launch of this model. The Lady 95.22 combines the iconic macro can- nage with the new maxi-cannage pattern, further enhancing its architectural form. Designed in three sizes, it offers elegance in two timeless shades – black and latte – and is decorated with refined finishes and couture in ruthenium or pale gold.
