Rupture, Lutetia Paris’ cultural counter
After Venice, Marseille, and Tangier, Alexandre Sap, founder of the unique cultural counters Rupture, settled in mid- September in the charming gallery-shop of Lutetia. Over two decades dedicated to refining his projects and desires, our man (a former sound engineer) happily initiated a publishing house, a music label, a coffee-record shop (on Vertbois Street in Paris), and several bookstores. The creed? Taking the time to “restore beauty and goodness” to the heart of our concerns. In the only palace on the Left Bank, the new counter, Rupture Art & Books, designed as a cabinet of curiosities with a strong Mediterranean identity, gathers only “objects dear to [his] heart” such as ceramics by Emmanuelle Luciani, designs by Sara Muzio, photographs by Agne Raceviciute, drawings by Abdelkader Benchamma, precious books, and more.
