Couture tea-time at Monsieur Dior

At 30 Avenue Montaigne, moments of indulgence become an art form under the direction of multi-Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno. Inside Dior’s historic address – home to the House’s ateliers since 1947 – two exceptional tea-time experiences reinterpret haute couture through gastronomy. Served in the Jardin, the afternoon tea pays tribute to Christian Dior’s lifelong passion for flowers and the rose gardens of his childhood home in Granville. Vanilla and buckwheat tarte Tatin, gâteau de Savoie and delicate finger sandwiches compose a refined and poetic interlude. At Monsieur Dior restaurant, the experience follows the rhythm of a couture show through five distinct sequences in which Yannick Alléno revives forgotten culinary techniques. Among the highlights: a fruit confit inspired by a method once described by Nostradamus, alongside a daring pairing of raw scallop and caviar with vanilla-and-chocolate wafer crisps. A sublime collection of choux pastries concludes this enchanted gastronomic parenthesis.
