Norman escapade at the Manors of Tourgéville
Formerly owned by Claude Lelouch, the Manoirs de Tourgéville are renowned for being an enchanting place. A few kilometers from Deauville, this 4-star hotel, a member of the Floirat group (owner of the Byblos), offers a timeless bucolic experience in a seven-hectare park. The 22 rooms and 25 suites (including duplexes and triplexes) are real cosy nests. Dressed in Pierre Frey or Dedar fabrics and custom-made furniture, they pay tribute to the Norman style. It feels like living in a large family home where time is given to time. What a pleasure to navigate from one’s room to the gastronomic restaurant 1899 where Emmanuel Andrieu officiates. By proposing a menu elaborated from the good products of the soil, the chef manages to honor the local specialities by raising them of a dose of inventiveness. Surrounded by stud farms, the hotel invites you to go for beautiful walks, bike rides or to enjoy the deckchairs on sunny days, unless you are tempted by a game of pétanque. A few drops of rain? Head to the spa with its heated indoor pool, sauna and Esthederm wellness area. The plus? The hotel’s movie theater, which will make us forget Netflix with a selection of quality feature films. Summer and winter alike, the Manors will not fail to seduce a demanding clientele who will want to go green in all weathers.
