In a little street parallel to the world’s most beautiful avenue, the Champs- Élysées, between Avenue George V and Avenue Marceau near the Place de l’Étoile, the 5-star Hôtel Vernet’s rooms with their contemporary design – renovated in 2014 by François Champsaur – are housed in a superb building constructed in pure Haussmann style at the start of the 20th century. Successfully spanning different eras, the original elevator and stained glass harmonize with state-of-the-art technological innovations, contemporary furniture and selected items from great French brands – Pierre Frey curtains and Arpin rugs. Finally, above the Le V restaurant is the hotel’s monumental glass roof, whose framework was designed by… Gustave Eiffel!
