The Lodge at Blue Sky, Utah in all its glory
Some rooms are equipped with a large terrace where we will have fun lighting the firepit to warm up once the night comes. Others have an outdoor shower; ideal to cool on summer evenings. Here, outdoor activities abound: hiking, skiing in winter, fly fishing, outdoor yoga, gun shooting… These experiences are designed to reconnect guests with nature and revive the spirit of childhood. A state-of-the-art equestrian centre allows you to enjoy the joys of horse riding in sage pastures, a plant appreciated by Indians. There will be elk, deer and many wild animals. Defenders of the animal cause, the Phillips family created the Saving Grace’s Equine Healing Foundation to care for injured horses. Gastronomy also plays a central role at Blue Sky. Under the direction of Executive Chef Jason Franey, nominated for the James Beard Awards, Yuta Restaurant offers a challenging farm-to-table experience, featuring local and organic ingredients, many of which are grown locally at Gracie’s Farm. The icing on the cake of this adventure in the American West, The Lodge at Blue Sky owns a whisky estate in the name of High West whose wines are sure to be enjoyed.
