Boucheron lights up the place Vendôme

Light has always been central to Boucheron’s personality – from the sparkle of its multi-faceted creations to its historic store on 26, place Vendôme, renowned for its “exceptional luminosity”. It’s no surprise then that light inspired the unique installation by artist Mathias Kiss, on show until January 6 2016 in the jeweler’s Paris outlet. This full-scale setting for the Quatre Radiant ring is a riot of pink gold in which the interplay of mirrors and silver leaf create a new world – a “dreamlike, romantic and modernist evocation” of the iconic jeweler. Mathias Kiss’s work continues Boucheron’s love affair with artists, who include Hiroshi Sugimoto and his Revolution photo exhibition in 2014, and its work with major designers, including Shaun Lean and Marc Newson.
