The fascinating collection of the Ennery Museum
The interior of the mansion built for the playwright Adolphe Philippe d’Ennery at the end of the 19th century was adorned with objects of extreme oriental art that his wife Clemence was collecting. Since last April, it has been reopened to the public who, during visits led by speakers, discover strange creatures in bronze, jade, ivory, rock crystal, ceramic and gilded wood… This cabinet of arts and curiosities is one of the three sites of the National Museum of Asian Arts-Guimet, with the main building of it and the hotel of Heidelbach.
