The Paris Zoological Park after dark

An evening at the zoo? That is precisely what the Parc Zoologique de Paris has been offering since 2016 through its beloved summer Nocturnes. Every Thursday evening through August 13, visitors are invited to rediscover the zoo from 6pm to 10pm as daylight slowly fades and the atmosphere grows quieter, softer and unexpectedly contemplative. Observing the animals at dusk lends the experience an almost cinematic calm. For more nocturnal spirits, the Silent Zoo evenings on July 16 and August 6 extend the festivities until 1am, transforming the zoo’s forecourt into an open-air dance floor beneath the summer sky.
