The Tubogas Sphere evening bag by Bvlgari exudes pure Italian sophistication. It incorporates one of the jeweler’s most emblematic signatures: the art of Tubogas. This technique involves coiling two raised-edge gold strips so that they interlock and hold together without any soldering, a construction inspired by the woven metal gas pipes once found in Italian homes.The architectural lines of the rectangular bag are enhanced by the jewelry-like impact of its gold-tone brass handle.
Its spherical tips evoke the Tubogas bracelets of the 1970s that became objects of desire for women everywhere. The design comes in two versions: one adorned with semi-transparent enamel spheres in Citrine, Forest Emerald, and Roman Garnet tones accented with crystals, and another entirely pavé-set with crystals. The bag is offered in black leather and terracotta nubuck, followed by Perla-hued calfskin and glossy black alligator for the holiday season.
