Dior, exquisite femininity
Its name is no coincidence. The Dior Cigale bag draws inspiration from the sculptural architecture of the La Cigale dress, an iconic design created by Christian Dior for Fall-Winter 1952, with its fitted bodice, voluminous moiré skirt, and sharply defined fold heightening its feminine allure. Designed by Jonathan Anderson, the House’s artistic director, the Dior Cigale made its debut at the Spring- Summer 2026 show. Its structured lines, front bow, metallic finishes, and single handle lend it a distinctive couture character.
Crafted in the finest leatherworking tradition at Dior’s dedicated ateliers, it is fashioned from supple, luminous calfskin. The Dior Cigale comes in two sizes – small and medium – and a palette ranging from delicate shades of soft pink, icy blue, and pale beige to deeper hues such as moiré gray and black. The Dior name is intertwined with one of the handle’s eyelets, celebrating the meticulous attention to detail that is a hallmark of the House.
