Aqua Kyoto Paris

The terrace of Aqua Kyoto, at the top of the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, ranks among the most spectacular in the capital, with 140 seats. At 360 degrees, the city stretches out like a film set: the Eiffel Tower as the grand finale, the Grand Palais in perspective, the Arc de Triomphe in direct line of sight, and the heights of Montmartre beyond. It is a rare panoramic vision, transforming every lunch and every dinner into a moment apart. Aqua Kyoto offers a contemporary Japanese score, elegant and precise.

The menu brings together great classics with a perfectly controlled touch of modernity. Lovers of seafood will be tempted by ultra-fresh sashimi or sushi and maki platters, prepared with finesse. The tempuras, light and crisp, are perfectly executed. Among the signature dishes, the Black Cod Saikyo Miso, delicately caramelized, stands out as a must, as do the robata grills scented with yuzu or shiso. The Crystal Sushi, combining scallops and floral notes in a delicate jelly, brings a singular visual and gustatory dimension, both contemporary and poetic.

A trendy table, and also a somewhat touristy one, Aqua Kyoto relies on a strong aesthetic and concept which, combined with this exceptional view, create a unique experience. Here, the journey is twofold – culinary and visual – with Paris as the backdrop.

As a final highlight, the weekend brunch (€85) unfolds the Japanese universe in a generous format combining buffet and table service: sushi, chirashi, crispy salmon katsu, green tea soba, and desserts inspired by Japan, for a Sunday interlude that is as refined as it is transporting.
